                        README.TXT

This package was put together on a 486 DX4 100MHz machine
with 16 Meg of RAM. This is not essential however to get
some measure of performance out of the included programs.

You will need:
at least 4 Meg of RAM and
Windows 3.1 or better.

If you intend to register and use this shareware,
you will need Computer Associates CA-Realizer ver. 2.0
or an upgrade in order to use it to write your own graphics
programs that make use of either of my procedure sets.

The example programs included with this zip do not require any
language interpreter, as they are already compiled into EXE files.

However, if you do not have CA-Realizer installed on your system,
you will need the run-time support files: CABLE.DLL and RLZRUN20.RTS.
These files come with the CA-Realizer installation package, but they
are also distributable royalty free.

To keep things neat, you can leave these two files in the same
directory as the rest of this package. In order for a CA-Realizer
compiled EXE file to be able to link and execute, RLZRUN20.RTS and
CABLE.DLL must either be in the same directory as the EXE file, or in
the root of the Windows directory, or in a sub-directory of the Windows
directory called RLZRUN20.

Ultimately, if you find that when you try to run one of the example
programs in this package it fails to even open up a window, you either
do not have the needed support files, or they are not in a path that
can be located by the EXE file.

The next step from here is to open the INDEX.TXT file,
and it will tell you what all the other text files in this zip
are all about.
